Hm, sorry for the long time in between posts. I went to Miami to watch the Giants-Dolphins game which they won in epic fashion. I spent 6 days, 5 nights in Miami's Intercontinental including a day trip to Key West. It was very much fun. I even saw the Nutcracker on its first day of performances in Miami.
I bought an iPhone 6 for my bf Carl. I feel like a sugar mommy, lol.
No new news. I have to start brainstorming to figure out what other kitchen appliances and other wishlist stuff I want. I'm getting low on my wishlist. I think I'm going to add TUMI luggage.
Paddy has a limp, not that bad so I am not taking him to the vet. I think it's been 3.5 years since I've taken him to the vet.
Merry Christmas, All!

No more pain in my feet, what a miracle
So let me preface this blog post with this realization that I made this week. My boyfriend Carl is always right. It's so frustrating.
My last post focused on my foot problems. My left foot was feeling discomfort even from walking when I gave it up for three weeks. My right ankle felt some twinges of pain when I was walking as well. My bf told me to run through the pain but I balked at it. I was going to go through the whole of November without any running. I even rowed for 30 minutes a couple weeks ago. But then the 4M Race to Deliver is coming up on next Sunday Nov 22 so I decided to run 3 miles this past Saturday. I felt my left foot, no pain in my right ankle. But it wasn't too crippling. Just a nagging feeling. The second day I ran it was much better and then lo and behold by Monday my left foot didn't feel any discomfort. I had switched into flat boots or sneakers to alleviate the pain but I went back to heels on Tuesday and still no pain returned. My bf was right. Argh

Injury Update
OK if anyone is following me, my left foot has been hurting... I stopped running last week of October and am resting it from running for the entire month of November and if needed, December as well. I've started taking up rowing which burns as much calories as running but works the upper body more. I will also try to take a spin class on Tuesday at 19th Street Broadway Equinox. They finished renovating their bathrooms so I can go back. I hope I can reserve a spot in Wil's spin class. He's quite popular and doesn't hound me during the class like some instructors do.
If after resting for 2 months and my left foot still hurts after running 5-6 miles I will resign from running and run only 3 miles a day for 6 days straight and leave it at that. No more half marathons or full marathons for me.
So I checked my weight and I weigh 101.4 pounds. It fluctuates from 98.2 to 103.7 lbs which is the 5 lb spread that Carl was talking about. So let's just say for all intensive purposes I am 100 lbs. That is the best that I've been since May 2013. And I weighed 103-104 when I checked out of the hospital after 3-4 days in the mental ward of St Luke's Hospital. So after surviving (or not eating) their terrible hospital food, I weighed around 103-104. That's the lowest I've been. In 2014 I was around 108. But in 2015 I ballooned up to 121 lbs. I'm surprised Carl didn't dump me, I was soooo fat! But after exercising over the summer I got it down to 100 lbs. Carl wants me to get down to 95 lbs which would mean I would need to amp up my running to training for a half-marathon. However my right ankle and left foot are not cooperating.
The lowest I've ever weighed was 87 lbs and that was when I was training for the one and only marathon I've done. The one that took insanely long because I think I hurt my ankle and continued. I didn't run for a good 6 months after that. I was hoping to do the marathon next year but I don't think I have enough races to qualify. Also my left foot is hurting and I can't run more than 6 miles so doing a full marathon is a bit ambitious. I was hoping to do the Brooklyn Half Marathon in May but that would mean training during tax season and I may be too busy to run during that busy period. We shall see. It's not like every minute of every hour in every day of tax season I'm working so I only need to find 1 day during the weekend where I do my long run and then find 3 other days to run. I think I'll choose a 4 x a week running schedule. In the off tax season I can do the 6 days straight of running.
Anyway I just wanted to document my weight loss progress and have a record of my thoughts and feelings during the period of frustration. I also don't want to see a sports medicine doctor until I am sure that resting is not helping enough. Of the numerous visits to this sports medicine doctor, he has always told me to rest. The only other option is surgery and I don't think I can afford that with my crummy health insurance.

Mets in World Series
My Metsies are in the World Series. Let's go Mets!
They won game 3 so now it's 2-1 Kansas City.
I really think I should try and get tickets for the World Series. More on that to be continued.
Anyways, tax season is finally over for 2014. I am just doing some back tax return projects and some bookkeeping.
Still dating Carl. Going strong after 2 plus years!
Here's to the Mets and hoping they win it all this season! Go deGrom, Harvey (dark knight) and Thor Syndergaard.

Mets WIN NLDS - head to NLCS against Cubs with home field advantage
OMG Mets won deciding Game 5. Let's go Mets!
I totally didn't think they would win... oh well Mets proved me wrong. I hope they make it to the World Series.
I survived 2014 Tax Season. Today was the last day to e-file 2014 Tax Returns. I think I made 15% more than I made last year, nice steady growth.
I can move to Astoria in January but I will wait to May to build a bigger bank cushion.
Today was my 2 year anniversary with Carl. We went to Grotta Azzurra for dinner, I think we've been there 4 times already. It's in Little Italy.
Anyways I do have two appts tomorrow - 11am and 1:30pm. I hope they show up.
OK I should try to get some sleep. Mets versus Cubs on Saturday. Matt Harvey vs Lester

Update!
Mets are winning and they will make it to the postseason unless they have a huge collapse like in 2007. I'm headed to the last game in the Subway Series. I'm going with Augusto this Sunday and Harvey will be pitching in it. I'm stoked!
Anyways, I am happy that the corp deadline is over. I made a killing with that. Now I have some bookkeeping projects to tie up this week. Plus I have about 3K more in work this month and next. I'm rolling in the dough.
I'm RR as Carl says -- Richie Rich!
I keep waking up around 4:30am in the morning. On weekends I have to wait to 6AM for anything on TV to come that is watchable and not some infomercial. On weekdays during the week I just have to wait to 4AM to watch something.
I need a haircut. I will prolly go to Lilly at Mizu to get a trim. I haven't seen her in ages! Her haircut will set me back $200!
I may buy a new wallet. I have to shop around. I want a pink wallet.
I have three appointments this week for new business. Ka-ching! I have to go to the church on Sunday and pray for the deals to close through.

Passing Time
I've been really bad about updating my blog. I aim to do it once a month but the updates are lagging. So sorry about that.
I have insomnia tonight so this is a great way to pass the time.
I weigh 105 lbs. I also clocked in at 104 lbs a couple weeks ago but I think 105 is my true weight. I don't know if I should aim for 100 lbs to be my next goal weight.
I ran 6 days in a row, 3.1-3.4 miles each day. I rock. I rock. I rock!
I'm headed to the US Open with my mom on Labor Day. We have been going since I was 21, every year mostly on Labor Day Monday, my mom and I get the grounds admission pass and watch matches at Louis Armstrong Stadium.
I'm also going to the US Open with my bf Carl on Tuesday 11AM day session at Arthur Ashe Stadium. The tickets were really cheap $27 so I didn't mind treating Carl to them.
He wants to see Odyssey by the Public Theatre so I will go tomorrow to the 12noon lottery and hope I get tickets that way.
Nothing else new. I saw my psychiatrist today and all is well. I see her once every three months.

OMG almost forgot about blogging, Apologies!
So sorry for the long time since last post. I've been exercising like a fiend, hanging out with my bf Carl and enjoying the summer so far.
Anyways, I lost some weight. I weigh in around 108-109. I also weighed 106.5 one day but then ate too much pizza the next day.
I am training for a half-marathon in October.
Still dating Carl. On July 15, 2015 it's been 1 year and 9 months!
I got a cold sore so that's annoying plus a few pimples.
I've been stressed at work. Lost my biggest client and good riddance.
Will go to church this morning for the first time in over a month. It's been very sporadic going to Church. I have to pray for more business.
Going to have brunch with Fay at Hotel Chantelle.
Then coming home to cook meatballs and banana chocolate chip muffins for Carl.

Weight Loss progress and Marathon decision
So I have decided to try and run a second marathon next year - 2016 NYC Marathon! I registered for 3 NYRR races in June and July. The NAMI race on my birthday reintroduced me to running, it took me 32:30 to run 3.1 miles.
I am also working out a lot -- running 2.1 miles a day for 6 days straight... and will try to continue running 2.5-3.1 miles a day for 6 more straight days. I weigh 113.5 so I am 8.5 lbs closer to my goal weight of 105. I have given up Starbucks drinks as that was 300 calories for the trenta decaf iced coffee I was having daily. Also eating baby spinach salads with chickpeas, roasted red peppers, fresh jalapenos, and a whole egg with chicken and sesame ginger dressing during the weekdays.
Still seeing Carl -- we went to Grotta Azzurra for my birthday! His 35th birthday is June 20 in 4 weeks!

Hmmm a month flew by
So I did go back to my cycle of having too much sleep. But then I cut out Zyprexa from my nightly medicinal regimen and now I am getting up super early.
So tax season for March is going by not as profitable. But I have a lot of projects due so I will make up for it in April I think.
I will move to Astoria or LIC in June 1 hopefully. I was able to budget a move out by then.
No new news. Carl is sick with a cold -- first time he's gotten sick since we've been together.

Another night of insomnia, another night of blogging
Another night of insomnia, another night of blogging...
Nothing new.. Working hard during tax season. Tmw I will do one hour on the elliptical, Sunday I will go to a meetup brunch so I can give a friend some chocolate and hot cocoa mix from SF.
I have to go to CVS and get some Theraflu because I think I'm getting sick again. I have to work through tax season so not likely to be taking a break resting at home!
Still need to see 50 shades of grey. Both Carl and I are too busy to fit it into our schedules.

Insomnia and Blog Posting
So I am posting more often now that I have insomnia. I had sleep from 9:30-2:30-3am ish. I hope this cycle ends soon. I don't like getting too much sleep. I wish I could get the elusive 8-9 hours of sleep.
So I am wondering where all my ex'es are. I would never initiate contact with them, but I wonder if they are still having fun or if they are dating someone serious or married already with kids!
My former manager at Equinox got engaged over the weekend. He went to church with his gf/now fiance. I wish I could get to church. I haven't been back since December 2014!
So that was nice news. I don't think I want to get married, even if I have kids with the guy.
I love my relationship with Carl. It's a serious, exclusive bf-gf relationship.
There's a cute guy at work. Not for me but he seems to be in his 20s. Maybe after tax season I'll try striking up a conversation or bring my dog to work.
I think I'll move out in September or October 2015. I need to take Paddy to vet and buy new furniture for my move to Astoria. Also need to find a vermin-free apt that is affordable and won't go up in price each year. I hope to spend 1600 on a one bedroom, with a less than 10 minute walk to the train station. Wish me luck!

Bitter cold in NYC
Another entry! I have been suffering from insomnia for a little less than a week now. So maybe I can start posting more in the wee hours.
Anyways, I am happily dating Carl. He refers to me as his gf and I call him my bf. All is well! I am watching 50 Shades of Grey at AMC Loews Kip Bay with Carl.
Also very busy with taxes -- a lot of my clients have contacted me to work on their tax returns.
I joined Weight Watchers to lose 15-18 lbs. I weigh 119.4 lbs! Heavy! I have to eliminate eating in the middle of the night.

The 2014 Tax Season has Started and I'm getting busy already
So the 2014 Tax Season started January 20, 2015 and I've been getting busy even this early in the season.
I hope to be able to save enough money to move out to Astoria by June 2015. Wish me luck!
I just ordered my appointment cards! I designed it after my dentist's appointment cards. Yee-haw!
So I went to SF in mid-January to visit my cousin and my good friend Elaine. Elaine moved to SF to find a husband, I wish her all the best luck in that endeavor. I'm so happy I'm able to stay in NYC where I love it so much and Carl is my great bf of all time. My love!
He wanted to come over last night so he came by around 2:10AM and left at 5AM. I can't wait until I move to Astoria so he can spend the night. I hope he's not married or has a secret gf in his apartment now. LOL.
So finally all the ex-guys in my life have stopped contacting me or the blocking iPhone capabilities have deleted all their messages. Davey might be reading these entries as he said he saw my blog but he was such a loser. I wouldn't date him in the 1.5 years since I met Carl. I'd rather be alone than with a loser like Davey! LOL
Not sure what Valentine's day plans are with Carl but I'll be sure to spend Friday with him as Fridays at Starbuck's has prevailed over the course of time.
OK so this is my entry for February 2015. I was trying to be ambitious and update it every day but my busy work schedule and such does not allow for that.
I do have to work out so maybe I will give my ankle the rest of February to heal and I will try to work out on on it March 1! That's really ambitious since that will be the full force of tax season time!
I weigh 118! I was 102 last year mid year to July. I will get to that weight if it kills me by July 2015.

New Year's Resolutions
So it's a new year 2015 and with that comes New Year's Resolutions. Here are my top three:
#1 Grow tax business from 196 clients to 300 clients. Ways to achieve this: more CL advertising, Thumbtack responses, etc
#2 Lose 20 lbs and maintain it. I lost 2.5 lbs so far and will continue going to Equinox gym and doing cardio and add weights in
#3 Continue relationship with Carl, grow closer, do more fun things together
So that's it!

December Posting
So I am so behind in my blog posting. It's almost the end of this month and end of this year to reflect deeply on the life events of 2014!
I have been happily dating Carl for over a year (since October 15, 2013). We celebrated our one year anniversary on October 15, 2014. We saw Hunger Games. All is good.
Carl gave me a gift bag of 6 items for Christmas - ranging from stockings and sheer pantyhose to bracelets and lip balm. I am a happy camper!
So all is going so well. It's a bf-gf relationship but not too serious-minded so not like we are going to get married and have kids. I love my relationship with Carl as is.
I also will move to Astoria in May of 2015. Wish me luck!
I will post new years resolutions next week.
I have to lose 20 lbs. I have to stop eating!

My November Posting
So it's been almost a month since my last posting.
Carl and I are going stronger than ever! Really happy with him! I will watch Hunger Games with Carl in one week's time from Monday. That's when I fell for Carl!
And last night I had some insomnia. But the two weeks before that I was sleeping a lot and sleeping in, so it's okay I guess.
I am in my office but not doing any work. Just wasting time before my 12:30PM brunch at North Square.
I've decided to go ahead with the postcard design with Lauren D. That will give me another advertising outlet / medium.
Anyways, I am a bit tired so I'll end this posting short.
I am also trying to get back to working out. I ran 3 miles this past Wednesday at the Great Neck Equinox.

One year anniversary with Carl
So it's been almost a month since my last update. I think I must resign myself into doing it every month instead of every day.
So the big news is my one year anniversary with my sweet and caring Carl.
Carl came over on Saturday and Sunday and most recently Thursday at Bayside. And we hung out on Sunday afternoon checking the Whitney Museum's Jeff Koons exhibit. So that's how we spent our anniversary. We celebrated at Cucina Di Pesci with an $80 groupon. We split a grilled calamari. He had a special Belgian ale and I had the Sauvignon Blanc. He chose penne pomodoro while I got the Black Linguini with Shrimp and Asparagus. We then split an apple pie a la mode. We then each got a specially brewed decaf coffee. I think we still had a few dollars left from that groupon.
One of my clients who pays me in restaurant dining cards will give me a new restaurant dining card. So that will be another dinner with Carl.
I'm really happy with Carl and hope that we stay together for many years to come!
I read an article that said that dating of three years is the ideal in order to minimize the rate of divorce. If that's the case with Carl then we would marry when I'm 39. Young enough to have one or two children. So I am not in any rush with Carl.
So tax filing deadline is over. Just have one more tax return to do. I have a few bookkeeping clients that I need to do some work on and catch up.
Today I'm getting eyelash extensions. I am also craving either a massage or a body scrub.

Blog update
So 24 days have passed and I haven't blogged every day. Been ultra busy with work and social events. I don't want to list everything so I'll just highlight the standouts.
I hadn't seen Carl until last Friday for the whole month of September as he almost broke his foot 2.5 weeks ago. I did see him at SB on Friday and he was crutches-free which was the first time he ventured out. He missed a week of work. I felt bad for him. But it was nice seeing him finally. He may come to Bayside this week depending on how his foot fares and work. I'll definitely see him on Thursday my only free afternoon.
Work has been ultra-busy. I logged in 74-75 hrs on a manufacturing client, matching my earlier bar/restaurant as the longest client project. Luckily I wrapped it up and will work an additional hour or two in tying up ends on Monday morning... I then have about 8-10 late filer extensions to work on. Then I hope after October 15 work will die down and I can relax and not go to work every day for the week. November I am due to take 2 classes and one ethics class in October. I want to return to the gym and lose some belly fat. And also maybe knit a scarf or hat. I need to go to YouTube and refresh on the knit and purl. I don't want to take another refresher class and waste money. More of the Carl influence on me.
So that's about it all. I will move in January or February. January if I can find a broker-less apt and Feb if I must pay for a broker.
I may buy some riding boots and Wellington rubber boots. Not entirely sure. Will browse at DSW. Also need to buy a few QB/Quicken programs for my PC for work.

Oooh Another Post
I've calmed down since this past Friday, maybe I had a manic attack?
Waiting for a client to come to discuss the QB file and bank account reconciliation.
Very busy at work. I could only meet up with Carl once this past week. I am so happy he's so understanding about my work schedule.
