Back at my parents for Labor Day weekend, although I have to go back to work on Monday morning

I was able to start the taxes for the 5K client. I finished their statement of position. Not too bad for an hour of work. I will work on it all-day tomorrow.

I have a guest pass to the Great Neck gym. I vow tomorrow to be the start of my running program. I am going to train and successfully complete the Miami Marathon in January 2009.

The Cubs lose 5-2 to the Phillies and hand Ted Lilly his eighth loss of the season.

Ted Lilly goes to 13-8. I hope he gets to 16 wins! I can dream, can't I? I actually watched the last two innings. Of course it was on Fox. I missed the Ted Lilly pitching part.

Another dog sitting assignment. These two Jupiter and Odin are leaving today after two weeks.

Ted Lilly wins 12-3 over the Pirates

Ted Lilly, despite giving up home runs to two left-handed hitters, picked up his 13th win of the year. He threw his cutter effectively and kept the Pirates' hitters on their heels the entire night. He goes to 13-7 for the season.

For five innings, Ted Lilly looked to be on his way to something special. But after no-hitting the Reds for five frames, things slowly fell apart for the lefty, who departed after seven innings having allowed just two runs on two hits. Lilly is now 0-3 vs. the Reds this season and falls to 12-7.
