Sloppy Joe's

I made sloppy joes from PW's site. Too lazy to take a pic. Have to go to the gym tomorrow and run a mile or two. Might not be able to do the Brooklyn Half-Marathon, that's in 4 weeks!

How hard is it to maintain a blog where you write in it on a daily basis but keep it remote from your personal life. I follow this one blog that will go nameless that is written on a daily basis but not really personal at all.

I don't think I can maintain a daily blog. The last time I wrote abt Cristiano Ronaldo. That was over a month ago.

And I stopped cooking regularly a few months ago.

wah!

I have to rant about this.

Cristiano Ronaldo has transferred to Real Madrid last summer and his new team sucks. He scores like a goal a game, but that's not enough for them to win games. Meanwhile Manchester United is on top of the English Premier League and still in the Champions League. Why did he have to transfer? It's so hard to root for a sucky team.

Florentine Bag, Sofabed

Happy New Year's Everyone, under a blue moon!

So this has been an uneventful week. I bought 1000 unaddressed business cards with my AccountEdge logo for $95.00. I shd be set for the next 5 years.

I finally bought the Pink Florentine Laptop bag, it came out to $120 instead of $82 since I waited too long after the holidays. I think that'll sate my need for the Burberry Pink Perspex Tonal Bag. I'll keep checking to see if it goes on sale. I would spend $300 on that bag, but no more.

My next purchase will be a Jennifer Convertible sofabed for $329, need to know how much delivery will cost.
Kinda torn over buying a Real Madrid Ronaldo jersey. I bought a Manchester United Ronaldo jersey and he was only there for two season's worth.

Busy weekend

I had a busy weekend. Let me start it by going through what happened Friday.

I went to my first Yankees-Bosox game. I want to go to Boston and attend a Yankees-Bosox game there, but I digress. It was a great pitchers' duel between Josh Beckett and AJ Burnett. Somewhere in the 7th inning, I wondered how many innings this event will go through. I stayed until the 14th inning, and then I had to leave because I had to catch the 1:19am train home, if I missed it I would have to wait for the 3:20am train home. The game ended 10 minutes after I left with A-Rod hitting a 2 run walk-off home run in the bottom of the 15th inning.

So after spending 5:30 hrs, I spent a relaxing Saturday at home. I helped kill, clean and then I cooked crab with egg, scallion and ginger. It came out quite nicely making me reconsider myself as a bad cook.

Saturday night was busy, I went to my cousin's daughter's banquet party. She was barely 3 months old. Her name is Sandrine. Not a fan of her name. It rhymes with gangrine, but whatever. Not my child. I stayed for an hour and then jetted off to visit my friends Chiemi and Jacqui at Chez Jacqueline, got the lobster risotto and chardonnay. I enjoyed the wine, which surprised me I don't normally like wine.

I luckily caught the 11:19pm train back home by 10 seconds. Got home 20 after midnight as they ran out of taxicabs at the train station.

I then got about 4 hours of sleep because I had to wake up to catch the 5:57am train to Penn Station to meet the bus going to DC at 7:15am. You see I had bought a ticket to see Cristiano Ronaldo play soccer with the Real Madrid team against DC United at FedEx Field in Landover, MD. 4.5 hr bus trip culminated in a parking lot barbecue of hamburgers and hot dogs. Went with the Real Madrid meetup group. Ronaldo only played the first half but I was in heaven watching him play for 45 minutes. He left after the first half, but Real Madrid scored three times to win it 3-0 over DC United. It was a great match if you were a Real Madrid supporter.

Then it took abt 5 hours to get back home at 10:45pm. I got home again at midnight, just to see my dad pull in from work.

This week is a chill week. Just have lunch plans with a former co-worker on Thursday.

Also it's day 9 of my running sabbatical. One more day of inertia and then I get to return to running on Wednesday Aug 12. I am debating on whether or not to ask Marty to go running with me this weekend. I am thinking I should go alone to test my fitness, don't want to drag him out and then stop in the middle of the run. But I haven't seen him in 2 weeks and I miss him. I think I'm going to fall hard for him. For however much I liked Rich, I was never in love with him. He was way too conservative. But with Marty, I can feel myself slowly falling for him. He walks with me when I need to walk during our runs, he doesn't abandon me. How nice is that? I even wrapped his gift ahead of his Sept 18 bday. I gave him the extra copy of Running Within I accidentally purchased before I even met him. It's not at all personal so I most likely will give it to him for his birthday. And it's not like I bought it for him. That and a $3 map to Central Park. So my whole gift to him was $3. I found my Central Park map, on another brighter note. I love that map.

Okay this is a long enough entry, I'll write more when I start running and keep you posted on whether or not I am doing the long run on my own this weekend or not.

Ronaldo and Inter Milan

So Ronaldo is tied to Nike, that explains why he is not moving to Real Madrid. Maybe he'll go to Inter Milan although I hope he stays with Manchester United.

While I was away, Ronaldo dumped Nereida only to take her back after she begged him.

Interesting. Not all is perfect in their world. This union is not meant to be.

On a side note, Larry really does look like Ronaldo.

Tuesday, July 8, 2008

This just gets better and better. Nereida slept with a Real Madrid footballer, named Sergio Ramos.

This, amid, rumours that Ronaldo is headed to Real Madrid. I don't think I could have even made up these stories that come out about her. And boy is he unattractive.

Still not sure where Ronaldo will land, but he did have ankle surgery in Amsterdam.

Tuesday, July 1, 2008

So the reports about Nereida and Cristiano Ronaldo are that they are serious. I should be more bummed out, but I am not. I am happy Ronaldo is happy!

They say she's his fiance. We'll see if that's true. Not that bummed out though. Not like I was ever going to meet him. He's not that hot.

I stand corrected. That photo makes his body look really hot. His face not so much. That he has much in common with his fiance!

All my respect for Cristiano Ronaldo will go out the window if he signs with Real Madrid. I won't go to Spain to visit him.

There are reports in the media that Ronaldo will ask to be sent to Real Madrid. He would lose all my respect if he did! He negotiated a 5 year deal with Manchester United last summer. He should honor at least half of that deal.

Ronaldo leads his team to victory in the UEFA Champion title over Chelsea

That's a picture of Cristiano Ronaldo. I may visit him next year in England if I can afford it. He's won the UEFA Champions League and the English Premier League Title (this one for the second year in a row). GO MANCHESTER UNITED! GO RONALDO!

Moment of Truth............

Tom Brady is a hottie. I hope the Patriots win against the Colts.

I am wondering if I should go to Manchester in April to watch Cristiano Ronaldo of the United Manchester football team. It will cost about $660 for the airfare and then another $400 for the hotel and probably another $200 for the tickets. There are two games though.

Is he hot enough to justify it?

So the results of the test will be back tomorrow. I wonder if he will tell me the truth. He was the only one who could have given it to me.
