No more soda

I think I am going to give up soda for a month and see if I lose more weight. I am at 94.5 lbs. My target weight was 95 lbs so I've already achieved that.

I love Pepsi though so maybe I should go to a raw food diet and give up meat and see if I lose more weight that way.

Personal Trainer Part Deux

I'm thinking of becoming a personal trainer again. This time I will take the ACE Fitness Exam next March 2010 and then take the USA Triathlon Coach Level 1 Certification next April 2010. Then if I still can't find an accounting job when my unemployment runs out in February, I will go to Equinox and apply again to become a personal trainer.

On my swimming progress, I can now swim for three or four breaths. Definite progress. I think I can compete in a sprint triathlon next March. I just have to find out which one to register for.

RIP Guga

It's been almost a week since Guga passed away at 2:30pm on Saturday May 23, and I am still grieving. I really miss that happy little face. I don't know when the pain will go away.

Race #5

I ran the 3 mile Wall Street race tonight. It was race #5. Halfway through my race qualification. Going to try and finish my 9 races + 1 volunteer by the end of June, before I move back to my parents on June 29. I am going to run 10 miles on Saturday and if I successfully complete that run, I'll run the Brooklyn Half-Marathon on May 30.

A guy who was running the race talked to me on the train ride down, but I wasn't so talkative. I don't like talking to strangers, I find.

Yay!

I am down to 96 lbs. One off my target weight goal of 95 lbs. I think it's the spinning classes I've been taking.
