Carafe that I bought. Now I drink lots of water. It's healthy.

So I have a new thing to look forward to

I have Earl's party to look forward to. I am also headed to Boston next weekend so that should be fun.

I just saw Sex and the City. It was good although I already knew what was going to happen since I read it on wikipedia. Now I'm headed back home.

Still feeling blah.

Lilly in a low point too

Ted Lilly only lasted three innings in his last outing. He gave up seven runs in three innings, 4 of them earned. The Cubs win the game though so it's okay. He's been going through a rough patch. My prayers go out to him and hope he buckles down and gets some lights-out pitching.

China evacuates 160,000 over quake lake fears

There really are a lot of stories about China and Myanmar, the two areas that John is covering. This week is bad.

One of these days I am going to get home and watch the NBC Nightly News credits and see if this guy's name appears there. I'll put on my investigator hat.

Clean my bathroom

That's a must-to-do, so I'm writing it here. I have to clean the bathtub and clear out the towels. I also need to get nice white hand towels for my bathroom. I've always thought that Jonathan is a closet gay. His apartment just screams it. He has the nicest pair of white, cotton hand towels in the bathroom. He also had this aloe frothy handsoap in his bathroom. This time our bath shower curtains did not match. He had the generic white ones.

He did also have green colored aloe scented candles. Plus a wine rack.

He has to be gay.

In surprise move, Big Brown resumes training

Roland Garros French Open begins on Monday

The French Open starts on Monday, and I'll still be at my parents' home. I need to make sure I buy grounds passes for the US Open next month. I always take my mom to the US Open.

Lunch restaurant

Picking a lunch place is so hard to do. We have gone through so many restaurants that are either too expensive or not open for lunch. What to do?

We've settled on Casa Mono. Hopefully it's good and not expensive.

I'm going to kill myself

OMG, this project is going to kill me. First there was yesterday's marathon walkthrough session. Just now, I was stuck in the senior manager's office for an hour and fifteen minutes, going over the RAM. My head is spinning. This is all because the senior is out of the office on vacation today and tomorrow. And the senior manager got reassigned to the NJ client, adding tons of stress.

Thankfully, tomorrow is half a day and I am going back to my parents for the long weekend. I was thinking of going upstate with a friend but it's too much for just the two of us.

The Oracle

I know this sounds hoaky but I do go to this site all the time to get some guidance:

It helps me even though I continue asking the same question until I receive the desired answer. It's a great tool to go on to pass some time. There is also a birthday compatability section.

Now you know my secret

NY Team For Kids

Help me donate to a good cause:

NY Team for Kids

I am running this year's marathon in November and will raise the goal pledge of $2,500.

Team for Kids is a vital source of funding for NYRRF youth fitness and character-building programs. In 2007, Team for Kids members raised $3.5 million, allowing more than 25,000 kids to participate in NYRRF programs every week. By 2010, NYRRF would like to teach 100,000 kids per week how to make running a habit and to set and achieve goals. To reach that goal, NYRRF will need $7 million in contributions. NYRRF receives grants from private and public foundations, corporations, and individuals, but donations to Team for Kids is a substantial and important source of funding that makes the current scope of programming possible.

These programs are an alternative source of after-school activity for young adults. It enables them to lead healthier lives. Please help me in raising funds for this much needed program.

My Entrant # is 221724.

This week's planner

Note that it lists John Fitzgerald on May 20th at 3am

Carafe

I need to buy a carafe this weekend from IKEA. I think water tastes so much better from a carafe than straight from the tap. I am intent on drinking more water since that's healthier. I've been searching for a triangular pour spout. Hopefully I'll find it there. I also need to get a glass vase since the one I bought originally was broken by my dad.

Ronaldo leads his team to victory in the UEFA Champion title over Chelsea

That's a picture of Cristiano Ronaldo. I may visit him next year in England if I can afford it. He's won the UEFA Champions League and the English Premier League Title (this one for the second year in a row). GO MANCHESTER UNITED! GO RONALDO!

Guga

Yay, uploading images through my Iphone works!

Ted Lilly goes for his fourth straight win

Ted Lilly wins his fourth straight start. He lasted 5 1/3 innings and allowed only two earned runs. He's on a hot streak this May with a 3.56 ERA. Go Ted Lilly! I'm going to have to subscribe to MLB Baseball online so I can check out his games. Ted Lilly may make a run for the Cy Young award if he keeps pitching this way!

Don't laugh at my food processor in my Gift Registry

So this is an item I must have when I am married. It's in my bridal registry at Bloomingdale's. Yes, I've started a registry. You can easily change the name of the groom.

Flower Girl's dresses

The style on the right but in a darker pink to match the bridesmaids' dresses. Need a way to get a thousand dollars by the end of next month. Need to pay off the balance of my wedding dress.

Another church

So I mentioned to a co-worker that I was going to church this Sunday to St. John the Divine, and apparently that's not a Catholic Church, it's Episcopalian. Now I have to find a new church. I may go to her church which is on Park Avenue and 84th Street named St. Ignatius Loyal Church. That's right by where John F used to live, or lives part-time at. I wonder where that boy is. He responded to my urgent message yesterday but I didn't follow-up with him on a date. I am not feeling it for him. There's something about him that I don't think is right.

Waiting for this day to end. I finished up some work but want to prolong doing it so that I can go home on time today. I don't think I am going to the Mets-Yankees meetup game tonight at Turtle Bay. I am not getting along with the assistant organizer, Laura, and I want to go home and do laundry. Maybe that's what I'll do tonight, laundry.

Working out

I worked out last night before my dinner at the Equinox at 92nd Street and Broadway. I ran 3 miles. I am going to start training for a marathon soon so that should be interesting.

I am sleepy from the medications. Wah! I wanted to stay home today but dragged my sorry butt into work.

In a cab

I've spent over a hundred dollars in cab fare this past week. I need to sell my apartment and pay off my credit card debt. This isn't a good photo but it shows the bright screen of the TVs installed in NYC cabs nowadays.

I just came back from having dinner with Jacqui, Anne, Earl, Shyly and Chiemi at Bello Sguardo. It wasn't that satisfying a meal as I had a $15 lychee martini with the $13.50+4.95 for shrimp capellini. I'm still hungry although I spent $43 on dinner.

Redken

I grabbed this Redken volumizing spray-mousse at the Duane Reade. It was $15.99 at the checkout counter. This was recommended on that page on how to get Blair's waves. Let's cross our fingers.

This is how I catalog my life

This week's plans. I mostly update this Ansel Adams daily planner. I don't really keep the iPhone as a daily tracker. If it goes in this book, I am aware of it happening in my life. Note that it says John Fitzgerald on May 13.

Ted Lilly

A Ted Lilly update. He is dominating this month, improving to 3-0, with an impressive 11-strikeout last night. Go Ted Lilly!

The Yankees won last night as well, 2-1. Go Moose and the team!

Over with Chris

So who would have thought it would be so over with him? Turns out that he was lying about his age. He is 23, not 25, and still in undergrad school. He is a liar and loser. I am not that into him. There are no words to truly describe his patheticness.

Birthday Parties and dog runs

So I had a birthday party that didn't turn out so well. Chris didn't show up. Big Surprise there. Now his phone doesn't even ring, it goes straight to voicemail. I am going to meet Jonathan tonight, I waited til Saturday for Chris.

Jonathan is definitely hotter than Chris. I have to get the photo of Tootell back on here. I think that if I had to choose, it'll still be Chris since I will most likely be his gf at the end of this month. His phone is still turned off though.

John Fitzgerald is the best looking of them all. Together with his occupation, he beats Patrick and all the other guys, including sadly Chris, hands down. I think that Chris is going to be my boyfriend and husband. That email he sent me yesterday wishing me happy birthday means he is thinking of me.

That's a picture of John. The first one is a better pic. There was a photo he had given me that was really hot. But he is super hot in person.

Just returned from the dog run. Paddy and Guga had a blast and they are napping right now. Wish I had a great camera to capture their naps on.

Scandals

Do I put a scandalous pic of Chris God win and have his name out there for all to see? We'll see if he comes to my party tomorrow. I am going to prepare for him not being there. I think he will show his head when his finals are over. I don't know though if his schedule matches what it says on the Hunter site. He attends Hunter's Physical Therapy Program.

I am not sure if I like him or even think he is cute. I hope he does come tomorrow. I called him and ever since talking to him, I have not heard from him. He has not told me he is cancelling on me which leads me to believe he is still coming. Although I don't want to count on it and be disappointed. I am getting roller curlers tomorrow, so I am excited. I want to get my hair to look like Blair Waldorf's (aka Leighton Meester):

I think she is so pretty. Much prettier than Blake Lively. I watch that show like it's the Bible. I can't find so many spoilers about it. But this site is good. Can you believe she is a natural blonde? It's strange how she looks so perfect being a brunette.

I am going to keep updating this entry as I am not that busy at work.

It's my birthday btw.

In like with Chris

So I reconnected with Chris. I met him on February 9. Before that we text messaged each other a lot. I really enjoy texting him. I am not sure I am in love with him. I really like him. I hooked up with him in February. He is also cute. He is becoming a physical therapist and is a trainer. I met him the same time as Joseph. He had a gf. We really connect and he wants the same things as I do.

We've talked about moving in, marriage, and how many kids we want. I really think he could be the one. He is 25 so it's peculiar that he wants to settle down in a year and a half which is about the time I want to get married in September.

I'll upload pics. He's not as hot as Patrick but is as cute as Joseph. Only with Joseph, I felt like the great conversations with him. With Christopher, I can't really tell but the text messages he sends me brings a smile to my face. I hope he can text message me today while I am in class. I could really have found the one.

Chris is coming to my birthday party on Saturday. We'll see how it goes.

Thank You

My tea's gone cold,
I'm wondering why
I got out of bed at all
The morning rain clouds up my window and I can't see at all
And even if I could it'd all be grey, but your picture on my wall
It reminds me that it's not so bad
It's not so bad
I drank too much last night, got bills to pay
My head just feels in pain
I missed the bus and there'll be hell today
I'm late for work again
And even if I'm there, they'll all imply that I might not last the day
And then you call me and it's not so bad
It's not so bad and
I want to thank you for giving me the best day of my life
Oh just to be with you is having the best day of my life
Push the door
I'm home at last and I'm soaking through and through
Then you handed me a towel and all I see is you
And even if my house falls down now, I wouldn't have a clue
Because you're near me and
I want to thank you for giving me the best day of my life
Oh just to be with you is having the best day of my life

This song reminds me of how it is when Chris and I text message or email each other all day long. He really likes me and enjoys text messaging me. I have to get the conversation we had on Monday on this thing. He really likes me. More than I like him, I am afraid. But that's all good.
